     Derivados del Flúor S.A. has been working with fluorine since 1947, firstly in connection with fluorspar mining, as a division of Minerales y Productos Derivados (Minersa).
    The Company has been independent since 1967, and produces inorganic fluorinated products. The new factory in Ontón (Castro-Urdiales, province of Cantabria) was opened in 1971.

   The Company’s facilities, capacity and location make it one of the largest in Europe, and it holds certification to the ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 standards.

 Derivados del Flúor S.A. is located in Ontón, in the province of Cantabria, a prime location in terms of its excellent communications by road, air and sea, less than 90 minutes along the main road from the French border, 10 minutes from the port of Bilbao and 25 minutes from Bilbao International Airport.
